Where's the Evidence

Did-u-know that it is hard to find an evolutionist who will debate someone who believes in creation. I think I know why!

Several years ago when there was a big stink about the Kansas education board voting to not put questions regarding macro-evolution on the state test, I made some phone calls to see what the big deal was. I found out that my local representative voted against doing away with the evolution questions. He said that he thought it was best for Kansas. When asked if he had ever studied the scientific evidence supporting special creation and a young earth, the answer was no. After that I asked him how he could make a knowledgeable decision without ever looking at the evidence on the other side. He said that he took the recommendation of the advisory counsel. Have they ever looked at the creation evidence? You'll have to ask them, he said and gave me a couple of names of professors at Kansas universities to call. After playing some phone tag, I finally got to talk to a very nice professor in person. When asked if he had ever looked at evidence for special creation, he told me that he used the evidence accepted by some scientific organization. I'm sorry I don't remember the names of the people or the organizations, but the just of the conversations are pretty accurate. My conclusion to this whole debate is that only evidence that supports evolution is allowed, and any evidence supporting creation or a young earth is put in the waste basket. People attending secular universities never are exposed to the creation evidence. Whenever someone debates a creationist this evidence comes out and is very hard to refute. Common sense and a little logic go a long way when all the facts are on the table. The purpose of did-u-know.org is to present facts and theories you might not have been aware of through public school and the secular media so you can make a knowledgeable decision about what you believe.
