Circular Reasoning

Did-u-know that evolution uses circular reasoning to prove the ancient age of the earth?

We are expected to accept circular reasoning as “scientific evidence” that the earth is hundreds of millions of years old and life as we know it has evolved through these ages by chance. Here’s how it works.

You are on a tour in a museum and come to a fossil and ask the tour guide, “How do scientists know this fossil is 120 million years old?” They will probably say, “We determine the age of the fossil by what rock layer it was found in.” The tour continues on for a while and you find yourself at a display of the geologic column claiming dates back to 700 million years. You ask the second question, “How do scientists determine the age of each of those layers of rock?” The answer will probably be something like this, “They can tell how old the rock is by the kind of fossil that is in it.”(1)

The real determining factor for the age of rocks and fossils is the theory of evolution. Since scientists believe evolution to be true, they “know” it takes hundreds of millions of years for life to evolve (change from one type of an animal to another). Life forms were suppose to evolve from simple to complex, with the simple life forms in the bottom layers gradually becoming more complex in the layers closer to the surface. There is no real evidence of this taking place in observable science. They can only observe slight changes in the same kind of animal. Therefore, since they “know” evolution happened (we got here by chance) it must take millions upon millions of years for these little changes to add up to a big one. There is only one problem, there is no observable example of even one animal in the process of change in the fossil record or anywhere else. (2)

In reality the evidence disproves this took place. Complex life forms are underneath simple life forms that are suppose to be millions of years millions of years older. Evidence of human existence have been found through all of the layers in the geological column. A fossilized shoe print is squashing a trilobite. By the way they are suppose to have been extinct for several hundred million years. (3) (4)

But doesn’t carbon dating prove the earth is hundreds of millions of years old? We’ll save that for another time.
