Did-u-know you could travel 186,000 miles per second for 14 billion years before you arrived at the edge of the known universe? Up until the late 1920's most scientists thought our galaxy was the total universe. Edwin Hubble, using a new powerful telescope, discovered that there were really billions of galaxies out there in the vastness of space. Can you imagine billions of galaxies each containing, maybe, 100 – 300 billion stars (1) averaging about 500,000 miles in diameter. My finite brain begins to overheat and smoke as I try to imagine the amount of matter in the entire universe. But wait, the Bible says a God outside of time, space, and matter spoke every single atom into existence. I realize that I have flippantly used the term Almighty God for years and had God in this little box that my finite mind could imagine. Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God…”.
