Did-u-know evolutionists use circular reasoning to prove the ancient age of the earth?

Here's how it works. Let's say you are on a tour in a museum and ask the tour guide the age of a particular fossil, “How do scientists know this fossil is 120 million years old?” They will most likely say, “We determine the age of the fossil by the rock layer it was found in.” The tour continues on for a while and you find yourself at a display of the geologic column claiming dates back to 700 million years. You ask the second question, “How do scientists determine the age of each of those layers of rock?” The answer will probably be something like this, “We can tell how old the rock is by the kind of fossil that is in it.”(1)

The real determining factor for the age of rocks and fossils is the theory of evolution. Evolutionary scientists believe it takes hundreds of millions of years for life to evolve. Life forms were supposed to evolve from simple to complex, with the simple life forms in the bottom layers gradually becoming more complex in the layers closer to the surface. (3) (4) Therefore, according to evolutionists, the rocks date the fossils and the fossils date the rocks. I'd call that circular reasoning! Wouldn't you?
