Did-u-know that there is scientific evidence that humans are descended from one female ancestor about 6,000 years ago?

The University of California at Berkeley published a study comparing the mtDNA of 147 people from 5 of the world's geographic locations. To their surprise, their calculations revealed that a common female ancestor lived about 100-200,000 years ago not 3.5million.

This Darwinian icon was further destroyed in 1997 when technology improved to the point that they could actually observe the rate of mutations from mother to child. This mutation rate was actually 20 times greater than was originally believed. Using the new more accurate rate, this female ancestor (May I call her Eve?) lived about 6,000 years ago.

If you take a literal interpretation of the generations given in the Bible you end up with the creation of Adam and Eve about 6,000 years ago. What do you think Darwin would think about this?
