While attending Biola College (a conservative Christian college) in California, they hosted a seminar by Dr. Henry Morris from what is now called the ‘Institute for Creation Research’. For the first time, I heard someone give scientific reasons for believing that the Bible meant just what it said. I returned to Kansas with a book purchased at the seminar and gave it to my high school chemistry and biology teachers. When I excitedly asked what they thought a few days later, they mockingly laughed at me and told me “You can believe what ever you want“. From that time on collecting and learning scientific information on a young earth and special creation has been an important part of my life.

In talking to people who received their entire education from secular institutions, most have never been exposed to scientific facts that indicate a young earth and special creation. I don’t know about you, but I like to know all the facts before making a decision what I believe.
